this butterfly, collected South of Lumbaqui, looks exactly like the second specimen of Arzecla tucumanensis illustrated on BoA.
this second specimen, found in 1991 farther North than the type, near the border with Bolivia, was first described as a new soecies : Angulopis desjardinas, before being synonimised with Arzecla tucumanensis, and this in spite of a visible difference on the HWUN.
