these Methone cecilia females pictured at Yasuní by Roger Rittmaster and at Ahuano by Hector Montero are apparently identical to the set female (above) collected near Puyo, the three being completely different from any female from this species illustrated on ButterfliesofAmerica.
but the female of magnarea is not illustrated on ButterfliesofAmerica, and we never saw one, could it be the female of magnarea ?
