we're supposed to have two ssp of Dynamine paulina, the nominal (Brasil and Peru), and thalassina (from Guatemala to Colombia) ; as often this specimen does not match either one, and has a bit of both.
when we had found this butterfly at Selva Alegre (Esmeraldas) in 2013, Keith Willmott had informed us that it probably was a new record for Ecuador.
