Pareuptychia sp, South of Tena, el Reventador, Unión Nacional Cuyabeno, Yasuni ; we also saw it in Sangay NP.
this butterfly looks very much like Pareuptychia summandosa the type of which comes from Paraguay.
but the taxonomy of the Genus Pareuptychia is unclear, different looking specimens flying together on the same spots.
