this butterfly looks just like the Hermeuptychia that we found West of the Andes and that we could not identify (see  https://www.cotacachi.eu/en/fiche-papillon/019-Satyridae/003-Satyrinae/001-Euptychiini/021-Hermeuptychia/075-morphotype+1+%28BBBB%29/_


the Santa Barbara area is something like a buffer zone between the Oriente and the Occidente, so, the presence of a Western species is not really surprising.
